BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Wind chills in the single-digits Tuesday did not slow Meg Digney down.

“No, I don’t feel anything. I feel good,” Digney said. “If it was like really hot out, I’d be complaining — if it were 100 degrees out.”

Digney is a bicycle courier who works for Expedited Courier Group in downtown Baltimore.

“This isn’t really that bad for me, because last winter was worse. Last winter was way worse,” Digney said. “I don’t really care about the weather. I’m happy because we’re still busy–and I have a nice warm home to go home to.”

Baltimore City Health Department officials declared a ‘Code Blue’ Monday through Wednesday morning at 10 a.m., which means actions are in place to try to find people shelter from the severe cold.
